Last Trahan Family Association Meeting:

 Meeting

The Trahan Famille Association Meeting and Mini-Reunion was held in conjunction with the Beausoleil Broussard's on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Woodman Hall in Maurice, La.   This started at 10:00 am. 


A sumptuous meal of crawfish etoufee was served to those attending.  This was cooked by Manning " Pete" Broussard.  What a treat.  Several guests spoke about the upcoming "The Great Acadian Awakening" in 2011.  A total of 47 RSVP's were received, yet a total of 91 plates were served.  Lucky for some that enough was prepared for such a case.  Next time some might not be that lucky.   We will have to think about issuing tickets to the RSVP's.

 

The next meeting of these two groups will probably be in conjunction with the Louisiana-Acadie festivities in October of 2011, but you will be notified if changes are made to these plans.
