Information has been received that the Lege/Leger Family will
again host the Trahan Family for the 2009 Congre Mondial.
This reunion will be held in the Greater Caraquet Area, northern
part of New Brunswick. The reunion will take place on August
11 and 12, 2009
The Trahan Family Assoc. is in
line for a $1,000 grant from the CMA 2009 officials to help with the
Reunion in August of 2009.
Arrangements have been made to have a company do Post Cards,
T-Shirts, Mugs and other souvenirs without any cost to the Trahan's
or the Leger's. The company will have a mobile unit at the
Reunion and will give 15% of the profits back to the Associations.
A form will be coming in soon so that
Leger's and Trahan's could join the Association in Canada for $10.00
membership plus $1.00 for postage to send the membership back if so
desired. This form will be on this website when it is
obtained. For those
anticipating on going, a bus trip is being sponsored jointly by the
CAFA and the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville. For those

and he will send you all the information. This would be a 20
day trip. Lodging will be included in the trip price, as well
as ability to go to different reunions during that time. Vans
